Apartment B
Apartment B is currently used by family and is not for rent.
Apartment B is month-to-month with a minimum stay of 60 days, with weekly Tuesday cleaning is included for all stays. It is located on the second floor and has a full-sized eat-in kitchen and a marble bathroom. Keypad for access. Choose it for location, style & privacy. Great for a couple. Walk Score: 83. Bike score 97. Nicely furnished: full kitchen & dining, filtered water, 50″ TV with cable, and fast internet.
This second story full size 1 BR space includes a full dine-in Kitchen (10’x11′), Living Room (11×15), Bedroom (10×15), plus a Bathroom & Closet. Enter from front or back of the property to access the Common Southside Entrance (use keypad); head up a full flight of stairs to landing; use another keypad for your private door.
This 1960’s apartment is newly renovated and furnished. If you like retro movie posters or James Bond, you might like the design and furnishings. The apartment also includes a few small luxuries such as Frette linens, down comforter, soft and hard pillows, and crystal wine glasses. Hardwood floors with oriental rugs. The 50″ wall mounted TV comes with full cable. The entire property has three high speed internet lines, so the internet is generally rocking fast. Dedicated heat thermostat & split unit A/C. Great light.
Outside the Southside Entrance is a small common picnic area with table seating, and a propane fire column. Use the On-site coin operated guest laundromat (down the stairs from the Common Southside Entrance). We most often parallel park in front, on the street, and if you have a car, you can do likewise. It’s usually easy parking on our block. Outside off-street parking can be arranged.
Apt B is relatively quiet. However . . . One morning about 10am each month, the retirement home next door runs its generator for one hour, just to test it. It’s on the N side, while the bedroom is on the S side, so if you’re sleeping, you might not notice it.
If you’re not accustomed to the city, you may hear sirens, as we are less than one block from Colfax, which is a thoroughfare for emergency vehicles.
